12-16-2010 Happy Anniversary Georgette:)
We survive; thank you Georgette. :) Well...I am sure you have met Brownie by now. She passed away in her sleep in January. Broke my heart; she was such a comical dog and so sweet and loving. Loved life and so animated I never expected it. She gave a yelp and by the time I went to her she was gone. :( I had just thought that day how sturdy and strong she was. Fifteen and a half years old. Well she was one happy dog for a year and a half more than she would have had if she didn't get out of ACAC. Chillie missed her for quite a while; I still do.
So much has changed in the last year. I did become homeless (they sold the house) for a short while but thanks to my wonderful friends a had a place to lay my head at night. The birds and dogs were sheltered by my friends. Finally got my SSD after two more months of losing our home. I am renting two rooms from my friend Nancy who took in Chillie and Maureen. Got all the Greys back in August. They are happy to be home even if it's different.
I decided to leave Amy with Roberta as she fell in love with her and Amy loves her also. She would have had to be with the Greys and the feather dust is not healthy for South American birds. That's why she only had one leg of her cage in their room so she could see them. Even then she sneezed quite a bit. I do get to see her and she gets nuts when she hears my voice on the phone. I miss her and the Amazon humor is missing but she is safe and happy. I can't believe I was able to do it but you know I always put your health and well being first.
Nancy has four dogs (two little and two medium) and she is a busy lady with work so I am a big help with them and the house. It helps a lot to have some thing to do extra as far as missing work and being useful. Nancy is so busy she hardly could keep up with the house and as I can I do what needs to be done. I am still in bad shape with my back, neck and collapsed rib cage but There's no hurry and I can rest as I need to.
The dogs miss the apartment and yard as much as I do but they are adjusting. I am very happy here and thank the Lord for his blessings. There was no way I could afford to rent an apartment with all the birds and the 2 dogs. It's a good situation where Nancy is helping me and I her. She is very happy we are here also. :)
Chaps promptly layed eggs when she came home. Sheesh I wish she wouldn't. In fact she just layed one the other day. She keeps hoping they will hatch but of course they can't. She's taken a couple walnuts also so maybe she will stop again.
Still have most of my stuff in storage until I can make room up here for it. Had to get rid of half of my stuff when we moved out but still have no room right now as am still trying to rearrange Nancy's stuff downstairs and the basement so we can take her stuff from up here down there. I still get those severe spasms and have to stop before they become constant and sometimes it takes days, sometimes weeks; so it's slow going. But it will get done eventually :)
Georgette you will always be in my heart. Till we meet again my love.
Have a wonderful day with all our fids waiting with you on this your eleventh anniversary at Rainbow Bridge:)

12-16-2011 Happy Anniversary Georgette:)
Well another year goes by my love. We lost dear Patti and Rosa to breast cancer this year. Have you met them. My heart is broken. Patti volunteered at Bobbie and the Strays with her husband John. What beautiful souls. She gave so much of herself and she tried so hard. I was shocked to lose her.
Then dear dear Rosa. I still can't get over it. She was the driving force of Team Vivi. She, Tina and Wendy were always there for you. We spent a lot of time together. She fought hard for almost eight years. You have to have met them both by now. They both knew of you of course.
Seems to be harder without you this year; missing the Amazon humor and antics with Amy being gone also. She is doing well and couldn't ask for a better Mom though. Been a while since I visited her. But she was totally settled into her new life and digs,
Been keeping busy with the crew here. Finally can walk great distances again. I can look to the left and right without getting unbalanced and even up for a bit. Rib cage collapses more after two miles though so the rest is not so easy. But I know the walking is what kept me going. Just hope I am not pushing it now. Have to ask the Dr. about that. Those darn Spasms still occur when I do too much but I learned to not push it so not out of commission long.
Maureen is well over 16 now and slowing down. Chillie will be 14 next month and showing their ages.
Still doing well though. Maureen hurt her leg but is coming along. They both had a hard time adjusting to one room and miss our old house. Thought they were aging fast but they have turned around and look great. :)
The Greys are doing well except for Charlie but he is doing better and hanging in there. Emily still her happy go lucky self. Haven't found your tapes in storage yet but when I play the couple on your page she knows it's you; so she still remembers. :)
Georgette you are always in my heart and soul till we meet again my love.
Have a wonderful day with all our fids waiting with you on this your twelfth anniversary at Rainbow Bridge:)
With All Our Love
